GT Force has launched a new electric motorcycle in the country. Called GT Texa, this battery-powered bike is priced at Rs 1,19,555 (ex-showroom). This is the first electric motorcycle launched by the Gurgaon-based EV manufacturing startup.

Powering the GT Texa is a highly insulated BLDC motor that delivers a top speed of 80 kmph. The motor derives its energy from a 3.5 kWh Lithium-Ion battery that promises a range of 120-130 km on a single charge. It comes with an onboard micro charger with auto-cut that can charge the battery fully within 4-5 hours. The GT Texa boasts a load capacity of 180 kg and a gradability of 18 degrees.

In terms of hardware, the GT Texa rolls on 80-100/18 front and 120-80/17 rear tubeless tyres wrapped around alloy wheels. Braking is controlled via disc brakes on both ends and aided by E-ABS. Suspension duties are taken care of by front telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers at rear. Seat height is pegged at 770mm, and ground clearance at 180mm. It tips the weighing scales at 120 kg (kerb).
In terms of features, the GT Texa comes equipped with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, remote start/stop, central locking, and LED headlight, taillight and turn signals. There are three ride models on offer.
