Kolkata Metro begins special night services on blue line – Check list of stations and gates remaining open for commuters

The services will run from Monday through Friday, with stops made at every station along the way

The officials of Kolkata Metro Railway have made the decision to move forward the trial night services by 20 minutes starting on Monday, June 24, 2024. These trial night services on the Blue Line will begin at 10.40 p.m. on June 24, 2024, from Kavi Subhash and Dumdum. 

The services will run from Monday through Friday, with stops made at every station along the way. At every station, commuters are asked to use UPI payment mechanism in order to purchase tokens from the ASCRM machines as there won’t be a ticket counter open to distribute tokens or smart cards. 

Here’s the list of gates of different Blue Line stations that will remain open for the experimental night services –

1. Dum Dum – Gate No.1 (North Side Gate) and Gate No.4 (South Side Gate)
