The afloat attachment is conducted alongside Indian Naval trainees from the 107 Integrated Officers Training Course (IOTC). This joint training fosters camaraderie and mutual understanding between the trainees of both maritime nations, strengthening the bonds of cooperation and friendship.

This bilateral training cooperation between the Indian Navy and the RSNF highlights the longstanding friendship and shared commitment between India and Saudi Arabia. It is a testament to the enduring partnership between the two countries, built on mutual respect and a common goal of enhancing maritime security and collaboration.

The visit of Admiral Fahad Abdullah S. Al-Ghofaily, Chief of Staff of the RSNF, to Southern Naval Command in January 2024 further underscores the importance of this partnership. The ongoing training cooperation between the two navies reflects their dedication to fostering strong ties and enhancing their operational capabilities through shared training and knowledge exchange.
