T20 World Cup 2024, IND vs AUS: India remain unbeaten in the ongoing T20 World Cup tournament. Today, India clashed with Australia at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia and set a target of 206 runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma smashed 92 runs off 41 balls. Meanwhile, the Australian team put up a great fight till the 12th over. However, the match took a turn after 13th over. Post that, Australia lost quick wickets, giving India the edge.
With this loss, Australia’s hopes are pinned on Bangladesh defeating Afghanistan in tomorrow’s match. India is now through to the semi-finals, becoming the third team to claim a spot. It will now face England on June 27 and fight for a place in the finale.
