Maserati has launched two iconic limited-edition MC20 models- Icona and Leggenda, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Trident's return to competition.

Maserati returned to competition in 2004, after a 37-year hiatus with the iconic MC12.

Only 20 units each of the MC20 Icona and MC20 Leggenda will be produced.

The Icono and Leggenda adopt special liveries and exclusive content inspired by the MC12 Stradale and MC12 GT1 Vitaphone, respectively.

Both supercars are powered by the Nettuno V6 engine that generates 629 bhp and can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.9 seconds.

The MC20 sports cars boast of an electronic limited-slip differential (E-LSD) for enhanced handling.

Interiors of the both Icona and Leggenda benefit from the Fuoriserie package which includes racing seats, and  Trident embroidery on the headrest.

The engine cover is composed of carbon fibre, the mirrors have an auto-dimming feature, and the brake callipers are likewise painted blue.
