Bugatti has unveiled the Chiron's successor, called the Tourbillon.

The Tourbillon name is derived from a mechanism that helps maintain accuracy on high-end watches.

With the launch of the Bugatti Tourbillon, the carmaker enters a new era of speed, with hybrid tech.

The Bugatti Tourbillon makes its debut exactly 20 years after the Veyron was introduced.

Now, speaking about the engine, the Tourbillon uses an 8.3-litre V16 that makes 1000hp, while a hybrid system and three Rimac-sourced electric motors that make an additional 800hp.

Bugatti says that the goal is to fill in the torque gaps with the hybrid system and is looking to achieve an acceleration of 0 to 100kmph in 2 seconds.

The interior is completely redone as well, to make it feel the most premium.

Bugatti has used highly visible internal mechanisms to give it a timeless appeal.

The Tourbillon also gets a TFT display with smartphone connectivity.
